Last year I had a PC built to my own spec. and used the sound card from my old one. The old one has been sitting there under wraps but has to go. I was given a sound card last week and had a go at fitting it. Hmmm !! -- it does work and will play music files which are on the hard drive but I admit to not knowing which connections fitted to the CD and DVD so at the moment although picture files can be seen from CDs and DVDs there is no sound -- and I wasn`t prepared to spend on having it fixed.

Also note that by to-days standards the processor speed is sssloowww.

The hard drive is 18 Gb and there is a removable caddy with a 1Gm hard drive. ( This can be removed and replaced ).

Along with the PC ( Windows ME ) is a Keyboard , Mouse, Powered Hub and a 17in Sony Triniton Monitor, plus of course all cables.

But NO speakers, although if you want to come along and see it I have speakers connected but they are not part of the deal.

I have cleared all personal files but there are quite a number of useful progs on which can be viewed working.

A real bargain for someone who can fix the sound to CD & DVD.
