Re: Mathematically impossible
we have 67 points on the board, Hereford can get 93. 93 minus 67 equals 26 equals nine wins. That is assuming that Hereford beat us. If we beat Hereford then they can only get 90 points leaving us to get 23 points ergo 8 wins. Every time they drop 2 or 3 points then we need one win less (ish).
Hope this finally stops all the calculator tapping.
So if Hereford continue winning including or excluding their game against us, the earliest we could mathematically wrap up the title would be York away or Grays at home. Therefore I conclude that I hope we both continue winning, we draw at Hereford and then wrap up the title on All Fools Day at home to Grays (where the Impossible Dream started I do believe) in front of a capacity crowd.
