Cobblers Mick, take them to the cobblers and ask him to stretch them a little. Bruising with an hammer works for me and its cheap but you risk splitting the backs if like me you find the experience pleasurable and get carried away……
For the current state of your heels I’d recommend Compeed Blister Plasters, they work a treat and should protect your heels whilst allowing you to wear your new shoes.
