U turn
It has been announced that the Council has given up on the idea of selling Accrington market hall off. This is because the market traders protested vehemently to the sell off and were completely and totally supported by Labour. The Council (Conservative controlled) has now made a u-turn because quite simply this is a vote loser just before the election - my guess is that if the Conservatives remain in power after the elections it will all of a sudden come back on to the table.
