At the risk of another onslaught on my opinion, yes I would agree that we could, but only as a result of winning those games. Obviously that stands to reason.

In my opinion, if Hereford takes Southport tomorrow and we start a 2 or 3 game losing streak they will pick up hope and fight to the wire. If we lose on Saturday and they win against Southport tomorrow and win against Burton on Saturday that will put them at a 10 point disadvantage with 24 points on the table.

Like the rest of you I am convinced and totally committed to the fact that we will take an outright promotion to the league, but I am aware that we could, can and certainly will lose a couple of games on the way. Based on that assumption I’ll stand by Scarborough on the 17th April as being the day Accrington Stanley with pride and tears walked back into League football
