Re: Preferential Ticket News
Not having a go just for ASFC feedback, but im not impressed with the programme for voucher/ticket idea, simply not only the prices of the programme itself which personally i think its a bit expensive for what it is, [i appreciate the need to require revenue for the club] specially when you bring your family along of little monsters lol that adds to the cost & hesitation of paying for a programme. i think you would still have a hard job gaining entrance from people from local/elsewhere to watch the team with this idea anyway ok to be fair give a couple of entrants but wont be a huge difference really, certainly theres probs if other local surrounding bigger teams are playing at home that effects the influx of people coming to the ground, as if they are away you notice the bigger gate. They were plugging the programme big time at the morecambe [home] match & many people were not afraid to tell the vendor who was parading round the ground to drop it by half & they would purchase one, as the vendor didnt very few were purchasing it anyway.
I think the club need to look at the wider picture certainly if we are promoted, we will always have our loyal supporters through the gate but entice others to the ground is another thing, i dragged a mate with me who's not accustomed to conference league was rather peed off with spending most of the match trying to see through people walking past trying to find a position at other end of ground blocking view of the game certainly at its worst at the 1st half of the game, which is a big put off [again i appreciate thats problematic with the ground layout], also big queues for toilets & having to walk all way round to get to them thusfore blocking peoples view of the game, even as supporter myself i find it rather frustrating. I appreciate the problems with funding & getting it sorted but our ground is hampering ASFC to some degree.
