Eurax lotion is good to stop the itching as is the piriton recommended above. Calamine lotion was useless in my opinion, check the age on the Eurax lotion i think its ok and you can buy it OTC.
when my 14 month old had them he got them in his mouth in his eyes and other not nice places.......I'll preserve his dignity he's 4 now!
