I was trying to work out the meaning of it but couldn't make sense of it. However it pulled up next to me and the Lady passenger in a very plummy voice enquired for directions to Oswaldtwistle Mills, as with many strangers to the area she had difficulty pronouncing Oswaldtwistle, I said, "Ah, Ossy Mills",
she immediatly interrupted with, "are you sure?", I replied that I was sure I live round here and thats what we called it, again the question, "are you sure?", "yes", I replied and started giving directions with each turn I described she asked, "are you sure?", by the time I had given directions I was getting a little annoyed.
So just before they drove off I asked, "private number plate?", "yes", she replied quite proudly, "Oh in that case can I just ask, why do you have an anagram of
Prick on the front of your car?".
I don't think she was
sure about the answer to that either!
