I don't have any rellies in Australia but I do have friends there. A couple of colleagues moved out there this year, one to Melbourne and one to Brisbane. My step-brother is supposed to be moving to Brisbane in July, he currently lives in Auckland.
I am looking forward to visiting Oz at the end of December. I have only ever transitted in Oz while waiting for flights to NZ. As they don't give you an Australia visa for transit you can't leave the airport. The airports are nice though...
