Re: Supermarket rage
Mistress eh! Isn’t a mistress someone between a master and a mattress?
Ooo! Heck! A sex war has developed!
Go for it ladies. You are only proving that women cannot stand criticism and will have the last word come what may.:engsmil:
Now back to topic.
Supermarket packers haven’t a clue on how to pack a shopping bag so I always decline their offer. Is it too much to expect that tins and things go AT THE BOTTOM and soft things like cream cakes go at the top or in a bag of their own not the other way around? Biscuits are delicate and break easily – so handle them with care. Mind you broken biscuits in custard is quite a treat. Don’t ram a bag of sugar next to a box with sharp corners. I prefer to use the sugar to sweeten my tea or coffee, corn flakes etc not a carrier bag.
Please don’t squeeze a nice fresh loaf into a space that isn’t big enough. In fact don’t squeeze my fresh loaf with one hand. I don’t want sandwiches with an hourglass figure. Use both hands to pick the loaf up and offer it to the scanner.
Finally, you may not have seen the customer in front of me for weeks but now is not the time to exchange gossip. Do it on your own time.
