Personally. I think the whole Premier League stinks of money, money, money -

and though all clubs need money to survive, this concentration has inevitably caused most of the clubs (if not all) to stray far away from what I thought football was supposed to be about.

As a recent convert to the Stanley cause (it took me 50 years to have my eyes opened, but oh how !

), I have found nothing but friendliness in the Stanley "family" and all the fans that I have met have given me a very warm welcome, despite the fact that I don't know very much about football or tactical awareness etc. I would be very sad if this wonderful atmosphere were to disappear if (as we hope), Stanley make steady progress through the ranks.

Would I have received the same warm reception at a Premier League club ? I very much doubt it !!!

Thanks to all at Stanley for making me so welcome - and for giving us all such magic moments this season !
