It was a great piece of television drama for a change. Very well acted and faultless costumes and locations. Maxine Peake is a great actress, as is Joanne Froggatt who played Hindley's sister Maureen, anybody know what else she has been in, it bugged me all the way through?
I read it was made with the full co-operation of the remaining families of the victims. It was an interesting angle to see it all through Maureen Smith's eyes, and in a way she was a victim of her sister's evilness herself.
