It was a pretty dreadful programme, wasn't it, by today's standards? I've got to admit, though, at the age of 10 I thought H L was wonderful.

I remember Robin Hood very well, with Richard Green and Patricia Driscoll. Little John was Scottish and I could never work out what he was doing in Sherwood Forest. I didn't watch Ivanhoe much, Roger Moore, wasn't it?, and soon graduated to Six Five Special, with Don Lang and his Frantic Five, and then Oh Boy! I was madly in love with Joe from The Dallas Boys when I was 14.
