Should these checks can lead to help for the child then I am all for it. Wether something will be done to help the affected child is a totally different matter and that goes for the parents as well. Its too easy for parents to take the easy option were food is concerned and will be hard for them to change their habits.

Parents cannot but their childrens life at risk just for the sake of a quick to make potentionally unhealthy child. Lets give it time and see if it works and wether the children benifit.
