Simple, the BBC should stand or fall in the market place just like every other broadcasting company, and it is financed by the licence fee whatever you say.
I make it that Alan Titchmarsh will say 'hello/goodbye from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show supported by Saga Insurance' twenty two times this week.
