Talking Re: If I won the lotto

Being retired and pushing 70 a Lottery win, and my chances of such a win are from nil to minus a lot because I don’t buy any of the tickets, would be of no real use to me. My flat may be a long way from a palace but it does me. I am warm, dry, not starving and I always have a few quid left over come pension day.

I have no aspirations to lead the high life so if I won the Lottery I would declare that the winning ticket belonged to a syndicate made up of adult family members, excluding me, thus avoiding any taxes because of gifts. An adult family member would be a blood line but not their spouse or partner. I would expect each adult family member to hold £1,000 on my behalf to enable me to replace any appliance that dies and new clothes as they wear out or cash upon request.

Each adult family member would have one share in the winnings with extra shares for those who had dependants. Thus if one of my adult family members had three children s/he would have four shares.
