I agree Mayrhofen is nice but, of the places I have been I'd have to say Oklahoma but then there are some super places I'm planning on going to over the next few years such as Italy and Canada which may take over the accolade of favourite place.
For places within the UK Llnafacreth in North Wales, Ambleside, Coniston, Hawkshead area in the Lake District, Isle of Skye in Scotland and Dunster in Somerset take some beating
