Re: (Not one singlies) how did you....

I met Ian on the 4th April 1994 in my local pub which at the time which was the George Hotel on Blackburn Road, he was sat at one end of the bar, me at the other with my sister. I thought it was my sister he kept smiling at, Simon the barman a good freind of ours (sadly no longer with us) came over with 2 drinks, he had bought one, Ian had bought the other. It was only later in the evening that I found it it was me that Ian was interested in, Simon a well known match maker had told me he needed some advise and could he speak to me in the restaurant, when I went in there, Ian was already sat there, Simon said right I'll leave you two to it and dimmed all the lights. And just to make sure we saw each other again he told us that him and a group of friends were going for a meal at Tiggis and would be going bowling after, and to meet them when they had finished their meal, When we got there obviously there was no meal and no-one going bowling he had set us up on a date, so we went bowling anyway. We got engaged 14th Feb the following year. We got married 31st May 1997.

If it wasn't for Simon I have to say I would never have met the love of my life.
