I'd been to the Cavendish Club in Blackburn to watch the Muscleman.....who remembers him? After hitching a ride back to Accy, with my mate, I was walking along Blackburn Road towards home when a bloke I knew played gentleman and refused to let me go on alone.
I took one look at his friend and I was lost. I don't know to this day what happened to my 'gentleman' but his mate and I married a year later, 1970.
He's no longer with us but left me two lovely children. Happy days x
