Just a little side line to your thread but did you know that as of 1st July Lancashire Ambulance Service NHS Trust goes and is to be replaced with the North West Regional Ambulance Service.

Management have stated, both verbally and in written forms, that Ambulances will serve thier local communities!

Hmmmmmmmmm I can see control at whereever it is seeing an ambulance clearing at a hospital in Manchester and a job comes in they are not going to be bothered that the crew have
1) little or no knowledege of the area,
2) will not be aware of the local differences in how that coumminty works, 3) if there is use or fire arms in that area

If you call for an Ambulance fron 01/07/2006 please make sure that someone is looking out for it jst in case it is a crew that has come from another area.
