Yes now he's calmed down, he's the best in there, plus I think after a while as you said you get used to the manerisms. He has a heart of gold, he doesn't judge unless he actually knows what he's judging on is fact, and even then he's polite, the guy is one of the last few of a dying breed, he really truelly desserves to win, and he desserves a medal for putting up with the prom princeses, omg they might be pretty but they are sooo up themselves, esp that grace followed by nikki, although she can be funny. Imogen knows she's pretty but isn't quite so nasty and as full of herself as grace, she's vile.
