Sod the council, get out on the streets and remember those that went abroad and never returned home, remember those that did come home and suffered many years from the effect of that conflict, remember the widows, wives, sons and daughters, mothers and fathers that give so much…….Many others also fought from across East Lancashire, Yorkshire and further north as well as those who from home who fought with other Regiments and services. Sod HBC……..they’ve yet to give anything back.
