For teh sake of one and occasionally the odd two games a fortnight & for 90 minutes this request is simply one too many to capitulate to. After all what is football all about if not the encouragement of fans for their team. I seriously hope & consider that this is pure newspaper hype & those making such a request are a minority. As with the tip scenario, the club has been in evidence at its location for long enough, the indications as to the clubs aspirations have not been hidden so why try & put us down in such a manner. These residents expect & receive reason but it also has to be two way. As a potential steward next season I do not expect my time to be taken up shushing the crowd & hoding up "please be quiet-you might wake up a neighborhood resident" placard, nor do I expect does Mick & others giving our time for the club in this regard. I have never heard the residents of Ewood or Trf Moor come out with such jibberish over the past years. Unfortunately if such unreasonable requests continue some may well take into their heads to be unreasonable back, which is only adding fuel to the fire & definitely what the club does not need!
