I don’t see why they should explode because of the heat in the boot or the case. I carry items under pressure quite often and have never known it to happen. Even so Busman I would expect to be compensated for that kind of loss if they couldn’t prove liability. And like Harwood says, if there is a risk of explosion it should be written on the Can.
