Okay, a few have mentioned the Stag Inn in Church as a quaint gathering place. What time is a good time to show up there? We hope to be in the Accrington area around 3 - 4 p.m. Just kinda walking around where my grandfather may have walked and seeing his burial site!
My hope was to "meet some of the locals" and with your kindness and welcoming(ness) I feel like I know some of you a bit already. So give me a time and my daughter and I will try to pop in for a bit.
If there are any Woodheads, Halls, Barfields, Knights, or an Atkin come say hey to the half-breed from the states.
