Re: Diodes?
Someone else said something about an electronics store at sheffield.
No this cpc is preston.
Customer services rang metoday. Admitted that My account should be 41quid in credit without the pc.
they are Insisting that I sent the last pc back as unsuitable and when they checked it it wasn't faulty (which is a lie), so therefore I was charged a restoking fee.
The compensation that I recieved of 115 quid is a refund of that restoking fee and loss of the hard drive that I left in it. It was only sent for repair, so therfore You wouldn't take it out would you. Also why would I send a pc back as unsuitable then order the exact same pc.
Faults on it were, ie keeps needing to close, pc keeps resetting, feet are missing, memory card reader doesn't work, remote doesn't work, keyboard doesn't work, mouse doesn't work, case is scratched.
This is the same pc minus my hard drive. It was sent back for repair was restocked instead of being repaired after I'd used it for three months, then sent out to me as a reconditioned return in working order. I want to know how many it's been out too over the last year, how many times do these pc's go out, considering that this is the fourth delivery.
Anyway, even though I get 115 compensation, cpc get the compensation because once I get a working pc I'll still owe the full cost minus what my account was in credit.
Thats 7 months being messed about 5 compouters. if this next one works, numerous phone calls, paying someone to be in to recieve/have collected.
Do you think I'm entitled to compensation. should I stick with it or just send it back, demand a refund of the amount my acount was in credit and go else where ?
