Thats a little pedantic....the reason I opted for that song, is because I don't want a rock or pop song I can listen to whilst chatting to my mates, I want a song I can sing along to, with some pride and passion. The Impossible Dream has exactly those sorts of lyrics, in my opinon. Funnily enough though, I don't imagine too many people are gonna want to sing along to Thin Lizzy or Kaiser Chiefs, let alone sing it with pride and passion. Unfortunately, it's not looking too good for Carter USM, but at least I fought their corner, with a decent argument, rather than "Oh, it's too slow!", like we're talking about motorsports or something.
Oh well, Rob, looks like it'll be you, me, Jase and Spud singing it, drunkenly, in some middle of nowhere football clubs Supporters Club, frightening the regulars
