I use the guys at Baxenden Tyres now (Julies had 2 new front tyres on yesterday), they are again courteous, helpful and good value. Plus as they are local guys I feel happier giving my money to local business community rather than some national company shareholders.

Sorry, hate to point out the obvious here but you are a bloke. When women go into a garage they get a completely different service. Because we have no knowledge of cars whatsoever (I don't want to know so I don't know) we are seen as easy targets, either that or ignored completely.
