errr....we don't have the days of mourning, Mani; we just have the one/two minutes silence. Years ago, the only two minutes silence was that at 11 O'Clock on November 11th, which was then moved to the nearest sunday to the 11th. These days, the two minutes silence pops up for any old reason, especially at football matches. I think that demeans the original idea.

I suppose the nearest we have to a full day of mourning is the State Funeral. The Queen Mum's was a good 'un, although I cringe when I look back at the funeral of that awful woman, Di.
