The other day my 8 year old threatened to 'get me done' by the police. He was being a real pain and it was one of those rare occasions he was pushing me too far. I told him if he carried on he would be getting a leathering (He rarely gets a smack) quick as a flash he said, 'if you do that I'll get you done for criminal damage'!
While he had the wrong charge I was quite surprised that he knew I could be in trouble for smacking him.
