Yes he lassooed crocs, not on some power trip though, but to move them from one place to another. He relocated crocs when others would have shot them, he knew how dangerous they were and made the point time and time again... if he acted like he knew it all, perhaps thats because he did,, Id say that there wasnt much about crocs and other native aussie wildlife that he didnt know. He grew up learning it, and he didnt just put on shows for TV, this was the life he led daily for about the last 30 years... yet how many of those years was he famous? less than half of them! He would go out of his way to save animals in danger, walk through fire threatened bushland to save as many animals as he could from the destruction that was about to hit their habitat, go back after the fire had passed to rescue any he could that were still alive, and seek treatment for them, and cry for the ones he couldnt save. He didnt just rake in money and sit on it... he poured loads of it back into conservation worldwide!
