For my 30th I organised my own birthday party ( My 18th was a joint do with my twin sister) I invited friends, acquaintances and work collegues from the whole thirty years of my existance. There were no presents , all money being donated to charity. All I asked for was a hand made card from everyone. Shady Mcgough sorted out the music, which was excellent and anyone who wanted to talk to me had to head for the dancefloor.
Next morning was birthday breakfast at my house, to come down and count the cash raised. That I can still remember it means that it was either a damn cracking night or I did`nt drinck nearly enough!
