The Tories can't have been that bright though. If you are right Cyfr and the New Labour government benefited from their prudent policies that the Conservatives implemented, why did the electorate vote them out and Labour in, by such a massive, historic majority.

Surely someone in the Tory think tank in Smith Square would have told them that voters are fickle.
