Just opened a new jar of instant coffee, and as usual you unscrew the lid, then you have to remove the foil seal and oh yes, gosh, but as soon as you do that, the tantalising aroma of fresh coffee wafts it's way through your nostrils, gorgeous!
The next time you go to that jar and unscrew the lid though, you know there will not be that same strong smell.
I just wonder, why not? The jar has only had a couple of spoonfuls removed so the bulk of the coffee is still there, yet to get just the slightest whiff from the jar your nose has to be almost buried in the granuals.
Just two questions.
1/ Do you suppose before they seal the jars they pump essence of coffee into them just to make us feel we have opened a quality jar?
2/ Are there any other products out there that give off their own mouth watering scent that give us that 'feel good' factor?
