OK Poppy, have you got it yet?

I have friends of different races.
I do not stop to think what race each person is.
Why? because FIRST AND FOREMOST THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS.
Geddit?
I said ALL of my friends are human beings.
I didn't say that I have to stop to remind myself that they are human beings!
I said that I have to stop to remind myself what ethnic origin they are IF anyone else raises the subject.

You neatly left out the following sentence when you were quotiing me out of context:

One mixed race family I have to think hard to remember which one of the parents is which

which illustrates what I have just said. A family which is friends with our family is of mixed race. It is so irrelevant to me which parent is which race that when anyone actually asks I have to stop and think about it before answering!

I see only one racist in this thread Poppy and that is you for ever assuming that anyone could consider others of a different ethnic background to be anything other than human beings.

Do you understand it yet or are you still going to quote me out of context, twist what I have said and call me racist?

I am deeply offended.
