Superstitions.

Thinking about the strange rituals we have related to religion, I got me a thinking and scrathin' my head about about superstitions.

I'm an atheist.

I also think superstitions are a load of mumbo-jumbo.

Strangely though I still knock on wood, or tap my head if I ain't got no wood, when I don't want to jinx myself.

Looks like I'm a total hypocrite, or is the human nature so fragile that we need these scientifically unproven rituals in our lives to survive?

Where did they originate from?

If you do them, will they perhaps turn into one of those phobias were you have to turn round six times and leave the house backwards, because if you don't you think diaster is waiting round the corner?

What little superstitions do you always do?
