I don’t knowingly eat GM foods.

Wasn’t there something about GM maize some time back? Monsanto supplied the seeds, for a fee of course, but when the maize grew the kernel was sterile. So the African farmer could eat the maize but would have to buy more seed from Monsanto to sow next year’s crop.

A nice little earner for them but not for the African farmer.
