Having just come across the message which started this thread, I now realise why Less was so oversensitive about my "helpful suggestion".
Had I realised there was currently a problem I would have waited until a more suitable time. But I really do stress that in no way was I "getting at" the moderators. I was hoping to lighten their burden, not add to it.
Anyway, sorry about my bad timing.
I am now doing penance with a spot of self-flagellation.
And here's a big wet sloppy kiss to make up
