I got there in the end. My daughter told me to hold down the red button.......number 13, thanks Madhatter as you had it right too! I was so excited but..........

After entering my pin number and the phone asking me 'how are you?', it came up with 'sim card error'. I now have to find a man who can unlock it.

It will be worth it in the end though as it is a lovely phone and, hopefully, I'll have it sorted before the next photo comp.

Makes me wonder though how some people get a gift and all works well and I'm always the one who has the problem!!!
