The Common Remote is noted for its breeding habits. Once you introduce 2 of these creatures into a home environment you will find, in no time, you have about half a dozen. They are shy by nature and tend to hide themselves away under chairs, on mantlepieces and on bookshelves. They may also, occasionally, migrate to kitchens, dining rooms and even bedrooms. Although easy to feed, they can exist on new batteries every few years, they do have a great desire to hibernate under cushions and down the backs of sofas. This habit should, where possible, be discouraged.
