By the way I wasn't being negative, by saying it wasn't an area that sprang to mind as being in need of regeneration. A good clean up, and repair yes.

What in my mind is the major eyesore in the town is Blackburn Road. It's like driving through a shanty town, where all rules of planning standards, and the rule of the law has been abandoned. It used to be an area of smart, established shops and homes.
