Its hard getting volunteers to man the stalls and to organise it and run it. Sometimes the volunteers manning the stall can be busy so they take their money and dont have time to ask if the adult standing next to them is a parent or guardian. I have spent many a time asking kids where their parent is or trying to find them as theyve lost them. How many times have you been to a fundraiser and seen the kids going round on their own? Parents give the kids a fiver and say off you go then and go and find their friends or wander round the stalls themselves letting the kids go and do their own thing.
