A slight change of topic! I walked down to my local pub for a couple one evening, thinking that my 13 year old daughter was safe in the care of her mate's parents only to find her legless in the bar. I mean really legless!

It turned out that they had 'escaped' and the barman had been serving them cider for most of the evening. To make matters worse, the landlady arrived just after I did and blamed the whole thing on me!

Thankfully, she believed me and the barman was sacked on the spot. I spent a scary night, watching my daughter whilst she slept it off.

I can't believe how adults can be so neglectful. The prize should not have been passed over until a responsible adult was there to receive it.
