Re: carlisle game

I drove from Bristol to watch the Carlisle game. It was my first visit to the FE stadium - though I have been to several away games this season and last. Many aspects of my visit shocked me, but perhaps mostly the poor attendance and the lack of vocal support. I'm sorry, but I do not go along with the idea of reducing prices to attract more people. If someone was selling a book on, say, butterflies that should cost £15 but was charging only £5, I would not buy the book. In fact I would not even have it for free 'cos I have no interest in butterflies. The challenge for Accrington Stanley is to create interest in the club - I stayed overnight in a B&B and 2 guests said at breeakfast the next morning that they would have gone to the match had they known about it. There is an element of curiosity about Accrington Stanley for obvious reasons - that curiosity must now be turned into interest - and attendance. Many other thoughts - but maybe that's enough for now!
