As the dark nights set in, a thought came into my head. If the council own the wheely bins and I injure myself putting their bin out, could I sue them? and are they insured against residents injuring themselves when using council property.
I then thought, how can you be fined for leaving your bin out, as it is`nt your bin. Surely by taking the bins in you are doing the council a favour!
Finally, if your bin gets lost and you have to buy a new bin, then it`s your property and you can remove any chips thereon.
