Last night there was a documentary on Austrian TV (ORF) which talked about England, and in particular about how much and how often it reains there.
There was a couple on from ACCY - I couldn't believe it!!
Apparently one night there was a big storm in Accy and the guy heard really big rain drops, when he looked out, his yard was full of apples. They thought it had been raining apples. Acutally the apples had been carried from the trees during by the storm into his yard.
According to the documentary, the whole of Accy was covered in apples.
Is this a true story? Anybody know whio the couple in the documentary were? Is the story famous back home too?
