If I am in a condition that needs me to be in hospital and if I am close to death or seriously ill I don't think I will be paying much attention to what socks the person attending me is wearing.
If however I am on the mend and I catch a glimpse of a 'silly sock', it might just brighten my day a little to know that the person that is dealing with me is human and doesn't always have to have a serious side to them.
I thought there was a term,
laughter is the best medicine?
