How many did you have?
For the past few years because of my mum what i used to do was carve a pumpkin and light it up and put it out on the front doorstep with a bowl of sweets and a note on the door with an arrow pointing downwards towards the bowl of sweets. I'd go out about 9pm and the bowl would be empty and the pumpkin candle would be about on its last legs. This year i thought the kids can knock - I've had 2 lots of kids that called. So i now have loads of sweets i cant stand! Next year i think i'll buy sweets I like - not what the kids like!
