Accrington Stanley Football Club were devastated to hear of the sad loss of Caneze Riaz and her four daughters in a house fire in the town this morning. Caneze was the Chairman of the newly formed Accrington Stanley Diversity Forum set up to promote links with various communities in the area, and played a key role in the establishment of the group. We are confident that the energy and enthusiasm that she put into starting the project will see the activities continue for a long time to come, and the thoughts of us all are with her family and friends at this sad time.
