So what is in the NIMBS book? Is this a nurses handbook?

All I can say to you Tommey is get all the information you can, from whatever source you can.

Look up every reference you can find on the Net that is written by a thyroid specialist. Read every book you can find in the library about hypothyroidism, written by a thyroid specialist.

Make some educated choices!

The fact that Doctors will argue between themselves over this matter says enough for me.
